Witches’ brew is a side questline available during the Halloween event in Star Stable Online. In this quest the player collects ingredients for Karin.

Quest Activation Requirements

To activate this quest, the player must:

1. Have access to Galloper's Keep
2. Have completed the Galloper’s Playground! questline.

Walkthrough

Witches’ brew

1. If you are not already in Galloper’s Keep, enter any of the portals marked on your map with a Pumpkin icon.
2. Cross the bridge to the main island.
3. Ride straight into center of the of the keep where the giant cauldron is bubbling. The ghost Witch, Karin, will be standing next to it. Speak with Karin to initiate the quest.

Karin	No! I don’t understand why you’re being so difficult, can you just—Oh look, now you’ve made me raise my voice! Remember what mama always said, Karin… deep breaths…

Yes, and I am terribly sorry about that. But look, now here comes another person who wants to brew a potion. What are you going to tell her hm? That she can’t? I-I am so sorry you had to see that whole scene… I have never seen this cauldron moody before! But where are my manners? Oh, Mama would be ashamed of me… my name is Karin! And you… Oh my stars, you must be <Player>! The Soul Rider! I have heard so much about you! But no one ever said how cute you were… I’m so s-sorry! That was very inappropriate! Come on, Karin, keep it professional… The cauldron is mis-misbehaving! Could you help me feed it what it’s asking for to calm it down? So far, I’ve heard it muttering about moss, ghost goo, and a spider egg. Can you find theses things and then come talk to m-me again? All the ingredients are s-somewhere around here, in the Keep.

Goal: Find some moss, ghost goo, and a spider egg for the cauldron.

1. Find the ingredients hidden around the keep. The ingredients change location each day of the week. Check the ingredient map to see where the ingredients you need are.
2. Once you have the ingredients needed, speak with Karin to complete the quest.

Karin	Wow, you found it all so fast! You truly are remarkable... now let's see if the cauldron accepts our offering.

Goal: Put moss, ghost goo, and a spider egg into the cauldron.

1. Click on the cauldron and a list of ingredients will pop up.
2. Click on the three ingredients the cauldron wants and agree to put them, in.
3. Speak to Karin

Karin	There we go! Look how lively the cauldron looks now, I knew I could count on you, Soul Rider <Player>! Feel f-free to experiment with the cauldron. I’ve noticed that the ingredients you use greatly affect what comes out!

NOTE: After completing this quest, it will unlock a daily quest called Brewing Trouble which you can complete once a day.
