Description[]
“Once upon a time, there was a very happy sleigh horse who dreamed of traveling the world, so when it came time for her retirement she did just that! She traveled west, south, east, and north. She met a funny little penguin who became her best friend. One winter they arrived in Jorvik.
Vetle found something magical about Jorvik, especially when it began to snow. It reminded her of her youth. “It’s no wonder that a winter traveler would choose to stop and rest here,” she thought. She stood in reverie for such a long time that she began to take on the features of an ice sculpture.
If you see a sparkling ice horse, stand perfectly still! If you are quiet, you might see Vetle come to life. If you bond with her, Vetle warms up to romp in the snow as a sturdy Shire.”[3]

Color Changing[]
The Vetle is a magical horse with the special ability to change colors. When the player presses the "h" key or the magic horse icon on the horse's character sheet, the horse will change from its neutral colors to its natural (magic) colors and vice versa. The horse will not change colors during races or while the player is unmounted.
Lay down[]
Note: The horse must reach level 7 to perform this move.
As Vetle shares its model with the Gen 3 Shire Horse, it can perform their special move laying down. The animation can be activated by pressing the spacebar, but only when standing still, otherwise the horse will jump instead of performing the move.
Colors, Pricing, and Location[]
Vetle is sold for 900 SC in Winter village during the Winter Festival, and comes in one variation.[3]
Note: This horse is released for a limited time.
- Natural Color: Iridescent blue/purple body glowing in the dark, with Norse-like designs, a snowy mane and tail and icicles protruding from the chin and chest.
- Neutral Color: Black Tovero.

- Vetle, like most other Magic Horses, cannot have its hairstyle changed.
- Vetle has a penguin friend, also available for purchase during the Winter Festival.
- Vetle was released as a pair with Lebkuchen.
- Vetle's non magical coat is an updated version of a Gen 2 Shire Horse.
