Hi all,
As an on and off SSO player since 2015, I have always wondered when new codes came out. Please note that some years had events that caused an irregular code release schedule.
- At some point, SSO decided to only release codes for new players.
- The game sometimes releases star coin codes to celebrate reaching a certain followed or subscriber count on their social media.
- In 2019, Star Stable Live happened, gifting players clothes and star coins.
- In 2020, Zelda Ghostfrog had a "summer" event called Exploring Jorvik lasting a whole month which granted codes that gave 100 sc every week to paying Star Riders and 7 days of Star Rider to every non-Star Rider. I believe that this was a special occasion for COVID-19 and will never return to SSO again.
- In March of 2021, SSO released a free 7 day star rider code for all players even though there was no particular event at the time.
SSO has definitely changed its code release schedules every now and then, so please do NOT expect codes to follow this chart exactly. The chart will go month by month.

However, in the same month SSO decided to gift player star coins for reaching 500K followers on Instagram. Upon the release of Wildwoods, there were three clothing codes that players could choose from that correspond to each of the three Wildwood herds. |
| Mar | Star Stable has not released any codes for the Fortuna Event in the past. In recent years, they also have not released any codes for Easter.
In 2021, there was a free 7 day star rider code. |
| Apr | In 2021, a mysterious 4 day free star rider code had been added. |
| May | In 2021, free clothing item codes have been added, upon the introduction of H.O.R.S.E and new Farah's Workshop items. |
| Jun | There have been codes for clothing items released for Midsummers. |
| Jul | There have been no codes during the Fort Pinta Summer Beach party event. |
| Aug | The Cloud Kingdom has given players clothes through codes before. |

Star Stable almost always gifts players with 100 - 150 sc on their birthday along with an exclusive birthday outfit for that year. Grand Prix event gave players a clothing item -- which I'm pretty sure is a one time thing. |

There is almost always a 300 sc code for Christmas/Winter available to all players. |
In conclusion, I gather that players will be most certainly gifted with star coins on SSO's birthday and Winter!
