“ | The Baroness built a racetrack here. | ” |
The Baroness's Racetrack is a race track close to the Everwind Oil Fields. The race Back on track is held here before its completion, and the race Daily Training: The Baroness' Racetrack is held after its completion. A championship is held here as well.
Appearance[]
The updated racetrack, after its completion, is a vibrant and flower-filled area. There is a large racetrack in the center, a shopping and sitting area, and a stable and paddock area. A large blue grandstand and other buildings are here as well. The centerpiece of the racetrack is a bronze statue of The Baroness' first racehorse, Gallant. There is also a championship area off the path to the Silverglade Equestrian Center. Behind the championship, there are paths leading up to a small trail in the mountains.
Attractions and Amenities[]
There are multiple shops here, selling tack/clothing sets and food. The main attraction is the racetrack, however there is also a paddock and stable area, along with a Horse Stylist and a Veterinarian. Next to the paddocks, there is an area with intractable stalls which horses can be placed in, similar to Starshine Ranch's stalls.
The large grandstand can be entered, and there are rows in the front where players can stand and watch the racetrack. The grandstand and another small building (likely a spot for the commentator) have 5 camera options which will move the camera to multiple spots around the track.
Trivia[]
- Many character played a part in building the racetrack. Rania and Sigry Varanger built the buildings, Björn and Agnetha worked on the landscaping, and the Wildwoods Rangers cleared debris from the area.
- The grandstand has a clock, however it does not work (it is stuck in place at 2:00), unlike Silverglade Village's clock which displays the server's time.
- In the quest line where the track is built, the Baroness states during her speech that "these grounds have seen generations of Silverglades." She goes on to talk about its history: her great-great-grandmother Florence-Anne Silverglade learned to ride horses on this land, and her father built a racetrack there.
- The racetrack's logo is a blue shield shape with a golden border and a golden horse and jockey running in the center, along with two vines and blue berries (likely blackberries) on the sides.
