Silverglade Observatory is home to Mario. From there he can use his telescope to observe what's going on in Jorvik, since he rarely leaves the observatory.

- There is a cafe on the roof of the observatory and an unlockable reputation shop.
- The player may unlock the Observatory Race.
- The observatory is accessible by a pathway that cuts through the forest and mountains near Valedale known as the northern mountain range road.
- Later in the game, it may be accessed via the gondola lift at North Link.
