Maurice Bergen is the principal of the Star Academy and brother of the astronomist Mario. He is a friendly man who believes in everyone's creativity. Prior to his time as principal, he was a front figure in the band Velvet Sky, which was signed to Dark Chord Records. His wife is in a mysterious coma.
Star Academy[]
In the Star Academy games and comics, he gives speeches in the auditorium multiple times. In the first comic, Brittany explains that his wife felt into a coma and he became obsessed with finding a cure. Later, Disco brings Maurice his old wedding photo. In the second comic, he is very angry about the stolen statuette and when he finds out that Clarence Stillwater and Raptor are responsible for its disappearance, he tells them off quite harshly.
Audition![]
Maurice Bergen organizes auditions for the new year of studies at the Star Academy. He is friendly to the students, answers all their questions, but when Lilith frames the player for blackmail, he does not hesitate to impose suspension from the student's rights. Only the help of a friend helps to clear up the misunderstanding.
Showtime![]
He announces a school assembly and invites three sponsors: Herman, Leonardo, and Clarence Stillwater.
Starstruck![]
Maurice oversees the Jorvik Song Contest. He disqualifies the Flaming Quartet when their song is played at school, but lets them back in when it turns out it was just music without any sung words.
