Huck is a cowboy from North America and is Josh's second cousin once removed. Gary Gold tooth found him in the Firgrove mountains and chose him as the rider for Cedar.
Appearance[]
Huck has deep green eyes and black hair. He is wearing a brown western hat, a red flannel shirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes.

Personality[]
Gary described Huck as a "nice young yankee lad" who is emotionally attached to his horse. Josh believes he is also quite stubborn and naive, assuming that anyone in a cowboy hat and boots were good ranchers. As he had to return to America after the summer camp, Huck made the mistake of selling Cedar to Scott Buttergood who did not treat the horse right.
Etymology[]
The name "Huck" is thought to be derived from the German word meaning "bog". It could also be a shortened version of "Huckleberry" which is of an American origin meaning "sweet berry".
