Dark Core worker

Goons, a group often found in Starshine Legacy, Dream Stable, and Star Stable Online. Most often they are not mentioned by name, but only serve as an anonymous representation of antagonists in the form of the Dark Core corporation.

Characteristics[]

Employees of the company always wear green coats and jeans. Their faces are covered by hoods and goggles over their eyes. They are known to be unpleasant, brutal and ruthless. Fortunately, they are not very intelligent, so they are also easy to outsmart.

Starshine Legacy[]

Employees often try to stop the Soul Riders on their way to their destination. When we get close enough to them, they will chase us, and if they catch us, we usually go back to the last checkpoint in a given level. Alex's mental strike can stop them.

Dream Stable(???)[]

Winter Rally[]

They are stationed on Pine Hill and take care of the stable, shop and equestrian club.

Summer Competition[]

They stand with Mr. Sands by the car in the old swamp.

Star Stable Online[]

Goons are first seen on the coast of Moorland, at the Dark Core base, and at Valedale Falls during quests, but after finishing them they disappear. The player also meets them on the oil platform, the headquarters of Dark Core, which is unlocked during tasks with the transport of his horse. If the player is too close to one of the employees, they are automatically teleported to the bottom of the platform. This can be prevented by hiding behind the crates located there. GED Goons also interfere with players at the Fort Pinta Championship and the Baroness's Racetrack Championships.

During the quest to rescue Justin, the player and the Soul Riders must drink a potion from Mrs. Holdsworth to transform into one of the goons and get on the barge.

Trivia[]

  • On the second (closed) floor of the mall, you can see a Dark Core employee.
  • In Dream Stable: Winter Rally, the employees of Dark Core are the only characters who have a three-dimensional avatar in this part.
  • In Star Stable Online, we learn that most of the workers are robots, some of them are constructed by Big Bonny. This is confirmed by information from the Dream Stable: Winter Rally, where employees were also robots.
