Erik Hightower is the father of Madison Hightower and the son of Sigrid and Jonas. He is married to Holly Hightower.
Erik is often stressed out from work and tends to worry a lot, like when he loses his belongings or Madison goes missing.

Erik was born and raised on rustic South Hoof, but as soon as he was old enough, he left for the big city. After attending university at Jorvik City and Yale, he married, had a daughter, and took a job at a prestigious Los Angeles law firm where he worked up the ranks to partner. Erik was so lost in his work that he was barely there for his family, up until his wife passed away suddenly. Shaken, Erik decided to be a better father. He walked away from his high-profile job and traded his condo for a yatch. He met Holly and he found love again. The two decided to make a big change and move back to Erik's first home in Jorvik.
Back in South Hoof, Erik is like a fish out of water, but he tries! He obviously cares a lot about his family, old and new. I hope he decides to stick around.
