Dellingr is Rania Varanger's horse in Star Stable Online. He is a Dapple Liver Flaxen Chestnut Pangare Haflinger, with a white snip on his nose. Dellingr appears to work as a sort of "seeing-eye" horse for Rania, seeming to be able to navigate terrain without her needing to lead him even while on horseback.

Dellingr's name comes from the Old Norse name, dellingr, meaning "luminous, shining one".
Star Stable Online[]
The player first met Dellingr and his rider after talking to Ranias grandmother Rose who lives in the Firgrove Village. Rose tells the player that she is worried sick as Rania was suppose to come for a visit to deliver some couldberry jam, but that they havn't shown up. It turns out that Rania and Dellingr were attacked by wolves on their way to Firgrove. The two got separated when Rania fell off Dellingr when he got spooked by the wolves. Dellingr made his way to Firgrove on his own, and once he's calmed down, he leads the player to Rania. After finding them both Rania starts explaining the situation to the player. She says that there is something wrong with the wolves, who in that moment show up starts and surrounds them. After managing to outrun the wolfs, Rania and Dellingr as well as the player makes it to safety in Firgrove Village.
Journal entry[]
Dellingr started his adult life as a pack and rescue horse for the Jorvik Rangers. he served the group with pride and perseverance for only a year before a bad fall during a rainstorm broke his leg. The vet said that Dellingr would be unlikely to walk again, let alone go back to work. Fate brought Dellingr into the life of a young Rania, who spent hours a day for more than a year helping the Haflinger heal. To see him ride today, you would never know how close he was to a tragic end. What a courageous horse!
