| August 29, 2023 | A trailer of the Dartmoor Pony is dropped on SSO's social media accounts.[4] A release date of September 6th is given at this time.[5] |

Description[]
“Originating in the rough moorlands of Devon, England, the Dartmoor pony is a reliable riding companion with a plucky spirit.
The treacherous weather of the moors shaped the Dartmoor up to be a pint-sized powerhouse, with endurance and a serene temperament.
Prehistoric tombs indicate the Dartmoor has been roaming the craggy moors since ancient times, but it wasn’t until the mid-20th century that the Winterwells imported the breed to Jorvik to join their Welsh ponies.
With a compact yet hardy build, the Dartmoor has a history of being used in rugged labor such as mining. It might be surprising to learn that it is also an excellent competitor in the hunter/jumper and dressage rings, and is also a natural choice for pleasure riders.

The Wave[]
Note: The horse must reach level 7 to perform this move.
The Dartmoor can perform a special move called the Wave. The animation can be activated by pressing the spacebar, but only when standing still (in idle animation).

The Dartmoor pony costs 850 SC. The seven variations can be found in the following locations:
- Bay - Steve's Farm
- Bay Pangaré - Steve's Farm

- Dapple Seal Brown - Fort Pinta/Steve's Farm
- Light Grey - Steve's Farm
- Red Roan - Steve's Farm
- Seal Brown - Steve's Farm

Star Stable Horses[]
A version of the Dartmoor Pony that was already in Star Stable Online was added to Star Stable Horses. The fully raised foal can be bought for 850 SC.

Trivia[]
- In reality, Dartmoor Ponies come in six coat colors which consist of bay, brown, black, grey, chestnut and roan. Pinto and other patterns are not allowed.[8][9]
