The ingredients can be fed to the Cauldron in the middle of the keep in exchange for special event rewards. The ingredients can also be used to complete the ghost witch, Karin's, cauldron brewing quests.

Locations[]
The ingredients are all located in the keep but they change location each day of the week. Once an ingredient is collected, it will not respawn until the player exits and reenters the keep. However, five of the ingredients do have special circumstances regarding their spawn locations and spawn rate, these are the four flowers and the Soul Shards.
Flower Ingredients[]
The four flower ingredients can also be collected all over Jorvik if the player has unlocked either the Druidism quests in the Hollow Woods or Farah's Workshop quests in Valedale Village. If neither of these quests have been completed, the flower ingredients will only spawn in the keep.
Soul Shards[]
Soul Shards can spawn randomly in the keep but they have no set location like the other ingredients and will not respawn should you leave and reenter the keep. Soul Shards will also spawn in Halloween Races, Daily Halloween quests, and can be collected by speaking with the ghosts that show up under the Vortexes that spawn on Jorvik during the event. He spawns every hour on the hour and stays for 20 minutes.
