Description

“One stormy night, an evil Dark Core scientist entered a lab that looked suspiciously like a stable. He carried a stolen beaker of Drakonium. He walked the length of the building, chose his subject, applied the Drakonium, and then threw open a window to let in a bolt of lighting!

A maniacal laugh echoed throughout the strange laboratory as a robotic horse became aware of his existence. Terrified and confused, the horse kicked out of his restraints and crashed past the evil scientist into the lashing rain.

"Monstrous creature!" cried the evil scientist. "Return to do as I command!"

"I know not what I am, but I know I am not a monster," thought the newly-born creature. He ran and ran, away from his creator, in search of a friend.

Unique

Color Changing

Bolt is a magical horse with the special ability to change colors. When the player presses the "h" key or the magic horse icon on the horse's character sheet, the horse will change from its neutral colors to its natural (magic) colors and vice versa. The horse will not change colors during races or while the player is unmounted.

The Buck

Note: The horse must reach level 7 to perform this move.

As Bolt shares its model with the Gen 3 Mustang, it can perform a special gait called the Buck. The animation can be activated by pressing the space bar, but only when standing still, otherwise the horse will jump instead of Buck.

Colors, Pricing, and Location

Bolt is sold for 900 SC in Galloper's Keep during Halloween and comes in one variation.

Note: This horse is released for a limited time, and will not return until next year's Halloween festival.

• Natural Color: Silver, robot-looking coat with Dark Core logo visible on both sides, glowing pink eyes and blue spots, and blue-orange gradient wires sticking out of the body. The mane is also made of these wires.
• Neutral Color: Grullo / Mouse gray

Trivia

• Bolt, like most other Magic Horses, cannot have its hairstyle changed.
• Bolt was released as a pair with Calliope.
• It makes robotic sounds.
• Bolt is accompanied by HoverTech, which you can buy for 350 SC, and equip as a pet.
• While the Bolt is described as male within the in-game description, players can still choose to label the horse as a mare or gelding in the customization settings.
