The Appaloosa is a horse breed available in Star Stable: The Summer Rider and Star Stable Online.

Description

"The Appaloosa is another breed descended from horses bought to North America by the Spanish. The Nez Perce people bred this particular breed from from these horses, with the horse's name being taken from the Palouse River that ran through the heart of Nez Perce country. The Gen 1/1.5 Appaloosa was announced on April 2, 2013 where it, along with many other breeds, were reported to be released in the near future. They were eventually released on July 24, 2013.

These models were replaced with an updated 1.5 model July 12, 2017.

The Gen 1/1.5 models come in 2 variations. They are sold for 680 SC and both can be found Ferdinand's Horse Market.

The Gen 2 Appaloosas were released on July 1, 2015, these were released sharing the new models.

The Gen 2 models come in 2 variations. They are sold for 890 SC and both can be found Ferdinand's Horse Market.

The Gen 2 Appaloosa in SSO shares it's model and animations with the American Quarter Horses, and the Gen 2 American Paint Horses.
The Gen 2 Appaloosa was the third horse in Star Stable Online to get a new body model with the grazing animation.
