Horse Stylist at Steve's Farm
For a fee, the Horse Stylist can change the mane and tail of the currently ridden horse.
Function[]
At the Horse Stylist stations found around Jorvik, the currently ridden horse's mane and tail can be changed for 19 Star Coins. It is possible to change a horse's "hair style" an unlimited number of times. Nearly all horse breeds can have their hairstyles changed, and some breeds have multiple unique and exclusive styles to choose from.

Range[]
There are various types of "hair styles" available for different breeds. Each style comes with a styled mane and tail, and all cost 19 Star Coins. The tail and mane cannot be changed separately. Most horse breeds have the four basic styles available - short, medium, long, and plaited. On horse models released after the generation 3 Jorvik Warmblood (including this breed), the banded braids as in the gallery are replaced by flat-lying button braids, and on models released after the generation 3 American Paint Horse (including this breed), the hairstyles are more customized to the model and may not include the four basic options. Specific information on their exclusive additional styles is documented on their individual breed pages.
Trivia[]
- The Gen 1 Friesians, Rune Runner, most Magic Horses, and Spirit cannot have their hairstyles changed.
- The Gen 3 Shire Horse was the first horse breed to have hairstyle options filling all twelve slots in the Horse Stylist menu.
